Erin’s Law

Erin’s Law is a nationwide effort, spearheaded by Erin Merryn, that has already been implemented in 31 states with several others considering the legislation.

Erin’s Law requires all public schools implement a prevention-oriented child sex abuse program that provides age-appropriate education on child sex abuse. It also trains school personnel about what to look for, and gives parents and guardians warning signs of child sexual abuse, as well as the needed assistance, referral and resource information to support children and families who have been impacted by child sexual abuse.
